Our basic Asset Management module allows the integration of an unlimited number of components (field objects), each of which can be created and described in detail on a separate detail page (see graphic below). The standard pre-configured widgets that can be called up live in the dashboard include (intake pressure, intake temperature, oil pressure and oil temperature, system pressure, room pressure, operating hours and idling hours.
The superadmin (owner, only exists once) can appoint any number of admins and users, there are currently no limits to the possible number. Admins ensure the security of the platform by managing user accounts and assigning different rights to users, such as editing widgets or dashboards.
The on-premise solution is operated locally in the wastewater treatment plant, for example in the control room or in the server room. In addition to the server, a backup system, an uninterruptible power supply (UPS), a minirack or other additional components are usually set up. The on-premise solution requires local integration in the sewage treatment plant. Asset management is part of the on-premise solution and includes the management of the gateways. Each on-premise solution has its own asset management installed locally on the server.
Within the IIoT platform, asset management enables the seamless connection of third-party systems such as ERP systems, external analysis tools or alarming systems via an API module. This module is based on a REST JSON API (web service) and enables developers of third-party systems to integrate quickly and easily.
The main functions of the API module include:
- Connection of third-party systems: External systems can easily be connected to the IIoT platform to enable the exchange of data and the automation of processes.
- REST JSON API: The API follows the RESTful architectural style and uses the JSON data format for data exchange between systems.
- Documentation: Comprehensive documentation provides developers of third-party systems with all the information they need for a smooth integration.
- Licensing: Use of the interface requires an API license for each third-party system to govern authorization and access.
Please note: The API module was primarily designed for connecting third-party systems and is not intended for directly connecting machines and devices in the field. By integrating third-party systems, users can expand their system solution, merge data from different sources and gain a holistic overview of their operations.
